Princeton Microwave was founded in 1994 as a small business enterprise by an ex-Sarnoff employee to design and develop successfully millimetre-wave surface mount isolators and circulators for the US Army. Subsequently it acquired all the designs and assets of Gamma Microwave, HK Microwave and Spectrum Dynamics. Gamma Microwave was the original manufacturers and designers of the Phase Locked Dielectric Resonator Oscillators. Princeton Microwave has extensively improved the performance and technology of their products.
